Happy Birthday!

Happy birthday to the woman who carried my Love, raised him, baked him cookies, Boston Creme pies, put on his band aids, washed his tee ball uniform, made sure he was fed and clean.  The woman who taught him to love spinach, 4H, lima beans and pot roast sandwiches.  The woman who taught him leftovers are a great thing, clean laundry needs to be appreciated and talking back isn't okay.  The woman who made sure he was in church on Sunday mornings. The woman who made sure Santa showed up and Easter Egg hunts happened.   She loves sports almost as much as Scott does, calls to talk about games at halftime and wears her Buckeye apparel with pride.  The boys love to talk sports with her too...it's a great connection.

I appreciate her more every year...without her Scott wouldn't be who he is...
