Iowa State Fair 2012

This week was the week of the Iowa State Fair for our family.  Scott kept his tradition of taking each of the boys for some one on one fair time in the evenings, and he and I snuck there one night too.  Max didn't go one on one quite yet, maybe next year.  We all went as a family on Saturday, the weather was BEAUTIFUL, cool and sunny.  Since he had taken each of the boys to do their favorite things earlier in the week we could do more of a fair overview when we were there as a family and make sure Max got in the special stuff since it was his only time there.

 Drew helping Max

how cute is the hand in the pocket at Little Hands on the Farm?

Jack was thrilled he was under 10 so he could do the Farm ONE last year

I am such a sap for loving the pictures like this from behind of my view.  Don't want to forget it.

 LOVED the sheep

In the last week it seems like Tommy has grown a foot...look at how TALL he is getting.  Seriously...he must be 5'9" by now.  Max SO tired, this was mid fair.

The BOTH love the tractors and mowers and equipment

Until next year at the fair...
Tommy and Drew start school on Wednesday so we have 2 more days of summer
Jack is liking his new school thus far, and having fun making new friends.
It has been beautiful fallish weather this weekend, LOVE it.  The boys are watching a Buckeye show right now, some Big 10 preview.  I LOVE college football season.  And it's just around the corner.
Happy week everyone.
