Whirlwind Summer....the best way to catch up is off my phone I have determined. So bear with me as I explain our last week or so..
Max at church....Mr. Independent. Sat much of this service with my dear friend
Makila down the row. We were across the aisle. :)
Tommy completed Driver's Ed and this is a great visual for us ALL.
Headed up to Edina to pick up Drew and Tyler and got a hockey game in...SO nice to be in a spot that was COLD for a change. Sweet Alice was with us too.
Original Pancake House Strawberry Crepes...my FAVORITE
Have the boys, thanks Mom and Dad for a fun week. Excited to take them home.
Sigh a visit to Anthropologie just to "look" did come home with 2 of these lite blue bowls.
Leaving "home" for HOME
Now inspired to repaint the laundry room...pink or blue?
Thatta boy dunking your Oreos. Proud Momma.
Great reminder
Headed North 3 hours to take Senior pictures of my friend Rita's daughter. We had fun, Jack and Drew had fun playing with their son too. Max stayed home with his best buddy Hinckley, thanks Ginnie...and Tommy stayed home on his own.
Super Hero kind of day
Wonder HOW I do it ALL? MonaVie energy drinks. :)
My color inspiration for the laundry room...LOVE the red and yellows with the Robin's Egg blue
Another wonderful reminder
Let the painting begin...goodbye Rosemary Sprig and hello Robin's Nest
Old enough to help...and I truly mean help. So wonderful. Thanks Drew
Ta Dah! Love it
Lots of gymnastic watching around here...and cheering.
More truth
A friend stopped by with her puppy, Max LOVED him. His name was Teddy...sigh
Sweet
Good reminder
Back to school shopping at 8 am
Driving into Chicago, Scott was speaking at a Customers' kick off meeting
This welcomed us to our room....or should I say Suite. NEVER again, will we ever have such lovely accommodations. For real. It was breathtaking and such a fun treat. Thank you Stine Seed Company! Scott will be your Main Speaker for you EVERY single time you ask. :)
The dining room
The family room and living area...
Visiting the Shedd Aquarium
While Max was napping, and Scott working on his presentation the boys and I snuck out...
Jack wanted to go here...
Next to the Lego Store was the American Girl Doll Store, I made them go in JUST to see what all of the fuss is about. Wow...so fun. I hadn't been for 13 years, since I took our niece there. It's a good thing we don't have girls. I would be SO weak in there..
A mid afternoon break
Cubs game at Wrigley Field
While we were at Wrigley field we got this picture texted to us...Tommy and his friend Will and our nephew Charlie at the Twins Game...Tommy didn't go to Chicago since he was headed to Camp Grandma with Will this week.
Subway ride
Packing it up to leave....Drew and Jack's room
A quick trip to Millennium Park....and the giant mirrored bean
Stopping on the way out of Chicago and one of my favorites...sigh The Container Store.
Another picture that came last night via text....Tommy and Will are there...let Camp Grandma begin
And this is where I was this morning....buying detergent to tackle the laundry.
Scott left early for Nebraska today, speaks there at 3 then heads back home. Nothing like 12 hours on the road for him today.
Drew played golf with a buddy and is at his house.
Max had Hinckley over.
Jack is waiting for his friend Connor to get home.
I am editing pictures and working on getting ready to head out for a senior photo shoot tonight.
Drew has a baseball game for fun at the Little League Fields...
seriously...life is NEVER dull.
Jack starts school in less than 2 weeks
the big boys start school in less then 3 weeks.
Thankful for busy days and a full summer but truth be told, routine and calm won't be all so bad.
There are just too many things to comment on here! Crazy busy, but full of so much love and life. Camp grandma is incredible. Laundry room looks so happy and bright. Chicago trip a blast. Loved hearing about your family.
