We just got home from a very special Superbowl Sunday. Our dear friends, Steph and Gailen, invited us over to their house for a Superbowl party along with another dear family that is friends of ours, the Oakes. It was a special night.
I am not even sure words can even do the time justice. Special to have friends who you have shared tough times with, who you TRULY appreciate, friends you pray for every single day. I am telling you there is something about being INTENTIONAL in friendships that makes them feel so much RICHER and thick. That's the best way I can explain it. Friends who see way beyond the messy house, the kids that don't always listen and the fluffy unimportant stuff....true friends. There in thick and thin.
Please continue to pray for Gailen's cancer and for the Veurinks, what a special family that we adore.

Sarah and Max
Sarah spent a lot of time playing with Max, she is so sweet with him. She even asked to change his diaper. Of course he laid still when she changed him.

What happens when you give a baby a chocolate covered strawberry. Sarah made one for him. Ahem..he loved it. :)
