Well...if you know Scott and I well at all you know we are NOT sleepover fans. Rarely do we allow sleepovers, just not a big necessity in life we don't think. "Nothing good happens after midnight".. right Dad? :)
Tommy has slept over at about a total of 4 friends houses over the past 14 years, Drew I think 2 friends and Jack...well we don't even talk about sleepovers until you are 10. So he has yet to have one or go to one.
But Max, well being the 4th has it's advantages...he had his first friend sleepover last night.
His good friend Hinckley, who we swap boys on Thursday mornings so his Mom and I get a morning to ourselves a couple of times a month...he was over yesterday morning. When his Mom came to pick him up at 1:00 she exidetly told me that her husband had landed some great tickets for the Yankees/Royals game in Kansas City THAT night. She was trying to find a sitter last minute for her 2 younger ones so she could take the older boys to the game. They are DIEHARD Yankee fans...similar to our love of Ohio State. So you get the seriousness huh? I told her if she got in a bind that we would gladly take Hinckley for the evening and he could spend the night. She still tried to find a sitter...no luck so at 3:30 she called asking if my offer was still OPEN for us to keep Hinckley. I answered YES and 15 minutes later he was at our door.
So technically Max had his first sleepover...
