Meet Daniel Boone....
Yesterday was the 3rd Grade "Wax Museum" project. Jack chose to be Daniel Boone, thanks to my friend Jerilynn he had this very cool hat to wear and thanks to my friend Beth, a musket. He was quite proud of his entire outfit...even his homemade gun powder holder.
After the Wax Museum presentations at school they went to a retirement home and then to a park in Dallas Center....here is his entire class right before they left for ice cream at the Korner Kone. His teacher, Mrs. Rittgers is in the center back, note she is the same height or shorter than some of those boys. :) Jack has had a great year in school and learned so much.
I could have hooked you up with a gun too, but you didn't ask. :) Glad the coonskin was a big hit!
