Scott is out of town this week...and tonight he drove from Sioux Falls, SD to Alexandria, MN and made time to stop via a slight detour at my Grandma's house in Benson, MN. She is so sweet. She had a plate of cookies, fudge, peanut brittle and some ice cream all set out and milk for him. She told him all about her bridge game today, she was subbing in for someone and won. Guess what the winner gets? $1- and yesterday she was runner up in her normal bridge group and got guess how much? $0.75. Isn't that great? She was so proud. She had her Christmas tree up, was watching the Nutcracker and was happy to see Scott. Loves to catch up on everything in our family, she is a devout blog follower..and shared the latest in Abner and Benson news.
It was a quick stop but I am sure Grandma loved every minute of it. She is a spunky, healthy 90 years old with 19 great grandchildren and 10 grandchildren...she lives life to the fullest. Praying she has a safe and healthy winter and NO more falls on the ice or steps!
