Baseball, baseball, a wedding and more baseball

It has been a hectic week, still is the crazy month of May...just plugged in my camera and this was on there from the past week.  Lots of baseball...

(love baseball parks that have playgrounds)

...and we did head to Illinois yesterday for a wedding of our old neighbors in Minnesota.   Our neighbors, the Rismas, had 3 boys.  Their boys were about 6,8 and 13 when we moved in.  We became very close to their family and have continued to be.   Their middle son got married in Decatur IL.  It was a wonderful wedding and we were so happy to be there.  It was a long day but worth the trip.  We got home around 1:00 am.  Drew stayed here for a baseball tournament and stayed with a buddy.  I forgot to take my camera to the wedding.  Have a couple of pics still on my phone.

This is the last week of school.  FINAL COUNTDOWN.  It's a busy week.  Field day for Drew Monday, finals for Tommy, revised schedule for Tommy due to finals, baseball games each night, end of the year parties in Drew and Jack's classrooms, Drew's birthday treats, and cleaning out lockers and desks.  Whew.  On Friday we are kicking off the summer with a trip to Ohio to see Scott's parents, aka Grandma and Grandpa Shisler on the farm.  The boys are so excited for everything this week, well Tommy not so much about finals.

I feel like I am about to DIVE into a very busy week, or more like busy 10 days...then I will come back up for air after we get home from Ohio.  Here I go....

  1. I think we should put gracelyn and max side by side on the big kid swings. Gracelyn's smile is as big as it gets when she swings on the big kid swings. :)

    I hope in 10 days y can rest. :)
