Christmas at the cabin...

The day after Christmas we packed it all up and headed north to the cabin...hoping to find a white Christmas there.  That didn't happen but we did find a very excited Grandma and Poppy (Papa as Max calls him) waiting for us with open arms and a big fire in the fire place...

Snuggling with Papa after nap time

Watching Yo Gabba Gabba with Alice

Jerseys from Uncle Mike and Aunt Cara from Uncle Mikes hockey school...

Mom bought this for herself and signed Scott's name....

We gave Alice a Baby be Blessed doll...

Max even got his own little jersey...

 We made Grandma a calendar...

Max knows what the remote does...

Making sure Grandma's heart is working well

 Snuggle time...

Alice's gentle kisses for Max...she adores him..

Poppy put Tommy to work hauling wood...in shorts??  hmm something isn't right here.

Coming up from a morning skate on the lake...

Getting ready to head home....think Drew has passed Grandma up in height now...

My beautiful Mom...love her so much

 Dad and Mike...

Me and my Dad...love him so much

More pictures to come from playing on the lake...Scott was under the weather one day, and I was still struggling with my cough/bronchitis so he and I stayed in.  But the big boys played boot hockey out on the lake with Mike and Charlie.  Waiting for them to send the pictures...so cool despite no snow...

Merry Christmas

Christmas Day....

We started the morning in our bed with Jack reading the Christmas Story in his very sweet voice...
Waiting for the go ahead to see what Santa brought....

Running through the kitchen to see...

Everyone has their pile of goodies from Santa...

Santa brought Max a Geo Trax...so fun

Opening gifts after lunch....a book from Great Grandma Lu

A Paper Jam guitar from Drew to Jack...

A new Buckeye tee from Tommy to Drew...

A very cool canteen sippy from Drew to Max....

A cool Buckeye tee from Drew to Tommy....

A Brutus Buckeye pillow pet from Aunt Kathy to Max...

A Sullinger jersey from Aunt Kathy to Jack...

 Books from Great Grandma Lu...

A Coach FIckell jacket from Mom and Dad to Drew....with a lovely flat bill hat that Dad chose, not Mom...but Drew LOVED!

A leap pad that Dad went to stand in line for at 5:00 am...

...an iphone for Tommy who was stunned and shocked and so excited...

...passports and airplane tickets to Cabo for Spring Break!

...looking through his Shutterfly book made with love by Mom...

It was a wonderful quiet Christmas.  Max wasn't feeling great so we did some morning snuggling and napping.  Had our big Christmas dinner for lunch and then opened gifts between us after.  The boys thoughtfully bought gifts for each other with their own money. We enjoyed being home and the quiet and calm.  Christmas is my very favorite day of the year....
