Once again, I am giving my Love the "What a Guy Award" this week. He drove to St Louis on Monday morning, leaving around 5 am for a meeting. The weather was getting bad here on Monday, 8 inches of snow..YET he turned around and headed home around 6 pm on Monday night, another 6 hours which turned into more like 9 to get home with bad roads. He was coming home for Max's birthday. He did the meeting on a conference call on Tuesday...bday day. He then turned back around on Wednesday morning leaving at 4 am to get back for the rest of his meeting in St Louis. He then turned BACK around on Wednesday when the meeting was done and was home by 10 that night.
A lof of driving...in bad weather...on slippery, snow covered roads so that he wouldn't MISS Max's FIRST birthday. Thank you Love, you KNOW it means so much to me that you did all of that and it also sets an example to our boys that family comes first no matter the effort involved.

I second that "what a guy" award - such an example of "when the rubber hits the road" (no pun intended) he puts his actions where his mouth is...what a guy!!!
