Friday Drew had a cool field trip for school to BizTown, where they get to pretend to have jobs in a city, pay bills, run the town etc. He LOVED it, He was the CEO of the distribution center. He came home with this pumpkin he bought and "customized" for Max with the money he made...
Friday night we headed to church for the GREAT PUMPKIN PARTY, something the boys LOVE and well the Momma, maybe not as much. It's pure chaos and mayhem, but the boys love it and sometimes we take one for the team right? Scott and Tommy were in Ohio so off we went.
Darth
Woof Woof
Buckeye football guy?
Here we are at the party
Drew and Max in the bounce house shooting hoops
Max went for ALL of the basketball games he could find
And the bean bag toss
Yet another basketball game
And I snapped this just so Scott could get a sense of the chaos we were living while he was calmly and serenely enjoying a night out with our oldest son....
For example he texted me this photo during the day...calm, serene....lovely
By Mirror Lake...calm, quiet...
Saturday morning we attended the End of the Season Celebration for Jack's football...he got the award for Intensity. Not a shock to those of us who know him. He is ALL business about what he LOVES and football, he LOVES.
The Buckeye game was a night game, and a nail biter....they stormed the field after the game and this is the pic I got around 11 pm.
What sweet memories are made at that place for Scott and our boys. Priceless.
So despite the craziness it leaves here at home when he takes one of the boys, one at a time, to The Ohio State University....it is worth every bit of crazy. Those are memories that will last their lifetimes. Drew said to me yesterday "Mom, my favorite two days of the year are Christmas and my Buckeye game with Dad"....that says it all.
Love that his game day is one of his favorite days. sigh.
ReplyDeleteSo sweet. :)
