Happy 2nd Birthday Max Harold!

Happy 2nd Birthday to Our sweet Max!  We love you so much.  We love watching you learn new things...we love watching you grow.

You are loving so many things.  You love to dribble and play basketball, you love to hit ping pong balls, you love to play with your "foot-all guys", you love to play train, you love to have your back rubbed, you love to watch Yo Gabba Gabba (with someone sitting with you), you love to cheer for the Buckeyes and think any word written on a shirt says "Go Bucks" (your Dad and brothers think you don't have to ever change your thinking on that one), you can say so many things, "Go Bucks", "eat", "cake", wawa, bye, hi, show please, and your favorite is what we call Max's role call "where Da go? Where Drew go? Where Ja go? Where Mama go?  Where Tah go? Where Pa go", you love to know who's "truck" you are going in..."Mama's truck? Dada's truck? Pa's truck"...it's so funny.  You can say some of your cousins names now too, ChaCha is your favorite to say for Charlie.  You just learned how to SAY the word NO even though you have been nodding your head no for quite sometime.  You definitely use the word "GO" a lot when you don't like someone in your space.

You are a good sleeper at night, you like to wake up VERY early though.  You are usually up and going by 6:00 am and not usually very happy about it.  You often wake up from naps grumpy as well.  You do NOT nap in your crib...EVER. You prefer to nap on the couch, or in our bed or today in Drew's bed.  I have given up on caring where you nap, just so you nap.  :)  And somedays you even nap more than an hour, which is SO good for you and for Mama.  Some days, Mama still holds you and rocks you and even sneaks in a nap with you.  Especially on the weekends when I don't have to be at school to pick up your big brothers...we LOVE to nap together.  One of my favorite things.

You ADORE your Daddy.  You RUN and jump in his arms when you see him.  It's so funny, it doesn't matter if he's been out of town for 4 days or in his office for 10 minutes.  You are always THIRLLED to see him.

You ADORE your big brothers and get SO excited to pick them up from school.  It's so fun to listen to your squeal of happiness when you see them coming.  You LOVE to play ball with them, especially in the backyard.  You think you are ONE of them, you don't see yourself as being smaller.  You want to shoot the basketball, run the football, throw it...whatever they are doing...you want a turn at it.  And they are MOSTLY very patient and loving with you.  It's fun to see.  It's a blessing for them to get to have a little brother!

You LOVE going to watch your brothers play basketball and you certainly DO NOT understand WHY you cannot be on the court with them.  It's a bit of a challenge to take you to their games and keep you off the court.  When half time arrives you are the first one on the court dribbling a ball and trying to make a shot in the 10 foot hoops.

Max you truly bring such joy to our family.  You are a blessing beyond measure.  A gift that is priceless.
