Prom

Well I fully thought we had a full year until we had to even think about prom in this house, considering it's a Junior/Senior Prom at our school as it is most.  But nope…last week I got a text from Tommy one day saying he had been chosen as the Sophomore Representative for Prom.  Not really knowing what that meant I had to wait for him to get home to fully explain it.  Evidently the Junior Class plans prom for the Seniors…and evidently they chose a Sophomore Boy and a Sophomore girl to be a part of the planning process…that way when THEY are Juniors they have been there, seen how it works, and can plan the best Prom for the THEN Seniors.  Tommy and his good friend (and Homecoming date) Maria were chosen to be the reps for their class.  Which also means…Tommy and Maria will be in charge of leading the planning next year for Prom.

So Tommy gets to go to Prom as a Sophomore, Junior and Senior.  It's a pretty exciting thing and an honor…  He is working on the "date" part of Prom.  I will keep you posted.  Guess we will be tux shopping soon.  Prom is on April 25th.
