Prom 2015

Prom was Friday night.  Tommy was elected last year in 2014 as the Sophomore Prom Rep which meant that he and his friend Maria, the girl Soph Prom Rep, were the ones who headed up Prom for 2015.   They have had weekly lunch meetings since fall, they have gone to business after business looking for donations, they have chosen committees, gone on field trips to scout locations...it has been a BIG process.  It all culminated on Friday night with Prom.

After decorating Thursday night and all day Friday he came home to prep for the big night.

He chose to take his good friend Morgan to the Prom as his date.  He picked her up and we met them at Glen Oaks Country Club for photos along with the 3 other couples they were going with. Morgan looked lovely and Tommy so handsome.

Tommy and his good friend Alec and their Dads.

Tommy always finds fun socks for dances, these were Galaxy themed and Morgan opted for comfy shoes this dance.

I loved how the flowers turned out.

Max likes the girls and their pretty dresses.  He told Morgan he liked all of her necklaces on her dress.

Tommy's friend Courtney posed with Max too.

I love this photo, I love how cozy Max is with Tommy.

 Such beautiful dresses.

I had eye surgery this past week, so we could only snap photos from the side to avoid looking at my ugly eye.  Oh how I love this boy.

Max opted to "meditate" while we snapped photos.  Anyone seen the Air Bud movies?  That's where he got this idea.

My littlest helper during photos.  He took many many MANY on my phone.

After photos a Limo picked them up and they headed downtown to Centro to eat dinner.  Then back to Glen Oaks for the dance and the Grand March...

At the grand march, hoping for a better photo from the Prom Photographer, but in the meantime here they are...Tommy mid breath.

He had a great time.  I know he is relieved to have it over in many ways.  I am proud of him and all of his hard work.
