We had Drew's birthday POOL party today....his birthday was June 3rd but took this long to find a date that could work. The weather was iffy but we were hopeful the rain would hold off.

Happy 10th Birthday Drew!
Well it was an interesting party...9 friends came plus our 3 so 12 boys. Party started at 1:00 rain came at about 2:00 we went into the clubhouse opened gifts, had cake, ice cream and drinks. The lightning went away so the boys went back out in the sprinkles to swim, had the pool almost completely to themselves other than 2 other boys for another 30 minutes. That was terrific. But then...rain again and lightning closed the pool down this time for good. We went into the clubhouse, Drew passed out baseball cards he had for the boys, they traded those back and forth and then we ordered a bunch more food, fries, nachos, cheese sticks, onion rings...and the boys ate and ate and traded cards. They ended up having a great time despite the rain.
