Most of you are old enough to remember the Calgon commercials...stressed mom, screaming kids and she would close her eyes and say "Calgon take me away" and she would instantly be in a peaceful tub of bubbles and peace and quiet. I feel like I need that right now...
It has been a crazy last month...SO many things to get done, graduation lists are now racing through my head at all hours of the night..things like this...design and order invitations, food to serve, who do we invite, decorations, landscaping that needs to get TLC, what flowers to plant, what needs to be painted, stained...when do we mulch? We need a new flag. What is the best flow for the party. Then there is the fact that this means Tommy is GRADUATING...yes, done with high school, done with being home every night, done with dances, done with team sports...his gown arrived this week, his announcements from school are here, the senior trip is paid for , senior photos are submitted to the yearbook...
And then there is this major reno project in our bathroom that is NOT coming at a good time financially...when IS a good time financially to spend a big chunk of money? That demo is supposed to happen while we are away on Spring break...but to be honest I have yet to have final confirmation from our contractor that they will indeed be here Monday. BUT I have spent much of the past 2 days cleaning out the bathroom, the closer, which turns into a large bag of trash filled with expired meds, sticky bandaids...then I come across the basket labeled "Children's Medicine"...yes my closet is filled with labeled baskets....and I clean it out to realize...we only really have Max that has meds for that basket. At once it was overflowing with stuff for the nebbie, meds for croup, tylenol, motrin, advil all sorts of flavors to please all sorts of kids. Allergy meds, in varying flavors. Syringes and little cups to give the medicine...and now...it has one lone bottle of children's tylenol and a tablespoon dispenser. YES, I could repurpose that basket but I can't. How is it that our other 3 are old enough to not need Children's meds....

I have been running around doing non-stop random things.
For example, I cleaned out the big boys' bathroom yesterday as they are getting new vanities and flooring. As I cleaned it out it let me to folding clothes in their rooms, which led me to opening a drawer to put it in, which led me to refolding everything in their dresser, which led me to the laundry room to do more laundry of the clothes IN the drawers that were dirty, which led me to the shoes in the laundry room closet, which led me to sort out the ones that don't fit, which led me to 3 bins of shoes in the garage that need to be sorted, sold or donated, which led me to the mess in the garage, with bathroom stuff donated from a friend, which led me to sorting through that pile to see what we are for sure using, which led me to the rake, which led me to working on landscaping, which led me to weeding, and laying down preen, and thinking about the yard work that needs to be done before graduation, which led me to the quilt we are having made for Tommy, which led me back inside to get the shirts for his quilt and go through and fold them, get the form for the lady who is making them, deliver the shirts, then come home to see that breakfast dishes are still not put away, which led me to the dishwasher that needed to be emptied, which reminded me to clean the fridge since we are headed out of town, which led me to the garage to throw away more trash, which led me to get the tile samples out and make sure I have chosen what I want...you think I am JOKING but I am NOT this is literally how the last week has been.
Packing for Florida...shopping for Florida...who needs a swimsuit, a golf shirt, a pair of sandals and so on...every singe day for 2 weeks has been a

In-between Tommy went to the state basketball trounament and played well. They lost but it was a great way to end you basketball career. Which reminds me I haven't posted yet about that..which reminds me I have to edit the pictures, which reminds me that I am behind, and I need to get stuff ready for the opening of my Twig & Daisy Calendar which reminds me of senior photos which reminds me of graduation...
and well you can see...I need to get away.
Headed to Florida tomorrow...Mom and Dad have rented a house. Scott, Drew and Tommy are already there. They drove there Thursday and got there yesterday. The rest of us will fly...I hope to find some Calgon there....
